Question Uninitialized Disk - Cyclic Redundancy Error

I've got an issue with an external hard drive where the drive seems not to work. Disk Manager lists it as uninitialized, so I tried to initialize the disk and I got a cyclic redundancy error when I tried to initialize. Then, proceeded to make a CrystalDiskInfo read and got following results.

Main goal is to rescue data. Whether by myself or sending disk to a recovery lab

This is either a faulty cable/USB connection, or a faulty drive.

The more you mess with the drive, the less likely it is for a recovery company to get something from it.

If possible (and it should be as it's listed as SATA drive) best way is to take it out of USB enclosure and connect by SATA port in PC to eliminate potential problems with USB interface. After that make full clone to a healthy disk and try to rescue data from it,
PS. If you try or succeed to initialize disk, any chances of recovering data will be greatly diminished.

Thats not always a possibility.
Sometimes, the USB-SATA bridge is on the actual PCB.

A lot of drives CAN be removed, though.

Drive health is deteriorating.
