Question Hey guys, I have an ENERMAX ETL550AWT-M Triathlor ECO 550W. I'm missing the gpu cable, which is supposed to be 8pin to 6+2 pin.

I've looked hard for replacements in the US, but can't seem to find anything. I'm willing to get a multimeter and a type 4 corsair cable, but what pin out should I look for? How would I match the pin out of the PSU, I have?

If anyone has any recommendations on what I should do, let me know please.

Thank You

That PSU's from 2013, what are you looking to power with that unit?

How would I match the pin out of the PSU, I have?
You fabricate a harness after finding the pinout diagram for the unit.

Not all PSU's have the same pinout and I'd advise against recycling another PSU's harness, repurposing them when you're going to need hand holding(no offence).

I'm looking to power a 2070 and a 7700k, I contacted Enermax support, if they don't have a response I think I'll just end up getting a different PSU

Thank You

How far are you from your closest Micro Center?
Sorry for interrupting...
MicroCenter is creeping west. One just opened in my old stomping grounds, Santa Clara, CA.
Unfortunately I now live 718 miles away. Hopefully MS will open a store soon in Phoenix, AZ.
Phoenix is not the techie center Santa Clara is. Fry's in Santa Clara had every electronic component you could ever imagine. AZ? Pimping A/V. R.I.P. Fry's.

Hoping i can find a 550w psu for under $40 locally or on ebay
If you're considering buying a second-hand PSU on eBay take care. It's not always easy to determine the age and warranty expiry date.

I bought a brand new Corsair CX550 on my local Amazon for the equivalent of $68. I was not impressed with how light it felt in my hand, the limited number of SATA connectors and the 20awg (?) wires. For an old AMD FM2 system it was OK.

At $40 you may end up with a sub-optimal (almost junk) PSU.

There are various PSU tier lists. Just make sure your intended purchase isn't too near the bottom.

If you can afford a bit more than $40, consider this:
